Regional Planner IV, Boston

MassDEP seeks applicants for the position of Regional Planner IV in the Bureau of Air and Waste.  Under the supervision of the Branch Chief for Municipal Waste Reduction, the Regional Planner IV oversees MassDEP’s Municipal Assistance Coordinators (MACs), who work for MassDEP through contracts with host municipalities/regional groups. This includes maintaining and updating Host Entity Contracts, hiring and onboarding as needed, and reviewing the work of these positions. The RPIV also provides guidance to municipal officials on recycling and solid waste contracting and other recycling markets issues and helps connect municipal officials with reuse and recycling market opportunities.

Environmental Analyst V, Boston

MassDEP seeks applicants for the position of Environmental Analyst V (EA V) Branch Chief for the TURA and Other Toxics programs.  This position is assigned to the Boston office located at 100 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA and will report to the Bureau of Air and Waste (BAW) Deputy Division Director of Hazardous Materials Management or their designee.

The Addison County Solid Waste Management District is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join their team in Middlebury, VT. The Business Manager will perform varied financial duties in support of the District Manager, Treasurer and Board, with involvement in several functional areas, including: accounts payable/ receivable, payroll, data and human resources benefit management, financial reports, fund reconciliations, vendor relations, IT security accounts, facilities and equipment, and public record retention. This is a critical position involving extensive internal and external communications, as well as supervision of an Admin. Assistant and Transfer Station Scalehouse Operator.


Operations Manager

Fischer Island Waste Management District

FIWMD is seeking a qualified and energetic individual to lead their operations and a small team of dedicated employees. Under the direction of the FIWMD Commission, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the administration of operations for the FIWMD. This includes determining work assignments, giving instructions on work procedures and methods, and inspecting work performed by employees in the field. The Operations Supervisor performs all personnel functions within the District, assists in the development of the budget, and is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of all District property and equipment.
