Rethink Resource Use Facilities Tour
NERC will be offering tours on Monday afternoon, October 5th, 2026, from 1:30 - 4:30 PM ET of the Terracycle Facility and Colgate-Palmolive’s Global Technology Center .
Tickets to the tours are $45 and $65 respectively. You must be registered for the Rethink Resource Use Conference to attend the tour. The two tours will be held simultaneously, attendees may register for one tour only.

Terracycle

TerraCycle is different from your local curbside recycler. They create recycling solutions for items your local recycling service typically won’t accept.
Most recyclers can only accept items that are profitable to recycle—meaning the value of the material must outweigh the cost of collecting and processing it.
The good news is that most trash can technically be recycled!
Thanks to their in-house scientists, they can determine the right process to turn hard-to-recycle trash into new items. From there, they work with brands and other stakeholders who help fund the recycling process.
