Durable Packaging Reuse: Supply Chain Systems

Material Reuse Forum 15

Tuesday, December 8, 2026 | 1:30 - 3:00 PM ET

This Forum will explore durable reuse programs across the supply chain, from small independent businesses to global corporations. Speakers will examine how reuse systems have evolved from early packaging recovery efforts to today's durable, technology-enabled models that successfully keep products and materials in circulation. Through examples of both successes and setbacks, participants will learn what drives return rates, customer participation, and long-term program success. The discussion will cover tracking and recovery systems, economic considerations, and lessons learned about scaling reuse programs across sectors. Attendees will leave with practical insights into how durable reuse systems can be replicated and expanded to support a more circular economy.
