Textiles Management Committee

This committee is dedicated to advancing sustainable textile reuse and recycling practices across the Northeast region and nationwide. The committee will bring together public agencies, industry leaders, and nonprofits to share knowledge, align efforts, and identify opportunities to reduce textile waste and strengthen circular systems for textiles and apparel.   • Promote awareness in textile waste reduction, reuse, and recycling initiatives across states.
  • Support the development of consistent policies and programs for textile diversion.
  • Encourage collaboration among public, private, and nonprofit stakeholders.
  • Identify barriers and opportunities in collection, processing, and end-market development.
