Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) - Regional Waste & Recycling Manager
Job Summary:
In 2025, NVCOG completed a Regional Waste Authority study, and subsequently, the NVCOG Board voted to form a Regional Waste Authority (RWA) to address municipal solid waste and recycling needs at a regional level. NVCOG is seeking motivated candidates to help lead the initiation of this RWA, provisionally named the Naugatuck Valley Resource Recovery Authority (NVRRA), as well as regional programs, services and projects aimed at assisting eventual RWA members with their municipal waste and recycling needs. The incumbent will carry out planning and programming with a focus on sustainable, cost-effective management of municipal solid waste and recycling.
